I can’t think of a better way to wrap up the month of June than seeding gray leaf spot progeny trials from our 2026 tall fescue crosses. It will be exciting to evaluate these plots over the next couple of months! #turfbreedingforthefuture
Great job by @NGTurf and @gibbslandscape for all the work on the future headquarters for U.S. Soccer. ⚽🌱

From backyards to ballfields, TifTuf stands up to heavy use and bounces back fast.

What a great time at the @PBGGatUGA retreat this week! Dr. Schwartz and I are super proud of @kamal_dhillon24 for her hard work and outstanding effort. First place finish in PhD section and she won the People’s Choice Award! All presentations were great! @ugatiftonturf
Kyle Norton and Aaron Bruce decided to stop by the turf team and show us this amazing automatic sprayer that recognizes and only sprays the weeds! @evergladesequipmentgroup #tiftonturf#ecorobotix

Enjoyed getting an update from various research projects funded by GGEF including a presentation by Dr. Kerns, thanks @GeorgiaTurf@GeorgiaGCSA Tim Busek & @tenia_workman now let’s see what Mother Nature has in store for later this weekend.
Great seminar from the GGEF, @GeorgiaTurf, and Dr Jim Kerns (who is always informative and a riot). Good information on timing apps for TARR, which is something we have battled this past year.
With the bill to reopen government signed into law by Prez Trump, NTEP will receive $250,000 recurring (every yr) federal funding, helping its bottom line. NTEP had relied on industry for 95% of its funding ...thanks to everyone that wrote support letters and helped this effort!
Communities are looking for ways to save #water without compromising joys of the outdoors. So, Dr. Brian Schwartz and the @UGATurfgrass Team set out to find a turfgrass that is the most drought tolerant plus has excellent overall quality. #TifTuf was the clear winner and the resulting water savings across the U.S. and Australia is staggering.💦
Amazing weather in GA for turf plot seedings. The team was able to seed tall fescue, perennial ryegrass, Kentucky bluegrass, and fine fescue trials today! #turfbreedingforthefuture
