I’m going to be an acute medic!! 🥹 Absolutely thrilled to have been offered an ST4 post in the EoE. To find out today whilst working in the very same unit that I first fell in love with the speciality as an FY1 feels very fitting. 🥰 #MedTwitter#Acutemedicine
Great time as usual at the SAM conference this week. Great to teach some ultrasound, catch up with colleagues and talk about some work we’ve been up to. #SAMontheCam@acutemedicine
A lovely morning today receiving my Coronation Medal plus a great day of delivering training for our Young Leaders. Finished the day off bowling with the acute med team. Now to hide from the weather!
Honoured to present Georgia with her King’s Coronation Medal at Young Leader training. It was super to be presented it alongside Explorers and Squirrel Scouts meeting today in the same place as Georgia started Scouting. @stambournescout@scouts
@zackferguson This is great Zack, I wish I could have read something like this last year! It would have helped a lot with the anxiety that I had during the application cycle. I’m sure plenty will benefit from it this time. And I love the graphics!
Two Explorer Scouts and two leaders from the East Midlands were selected to attend the momentous occasion at Scout Park in North London. Explorer Scout Callum Selby from Lincolnshire joined in the activities and got to meet the new Chief Scout.

Finished nights this morning and with that….IMT is done. 🎉🎉 Another few years flown by. There have obviously been ups and downs but I’ve actually really enjoyed my time as an IMT. I’ve learned a heck of a lot and feel ready and raring for ST4. 😃 #acutemed#MedTwitter
ST4 soon and I’m excited but the costs coming are sad. Especially alongside buying a house. GMC fees up after the lower cost period. £455…plus £688 for the ePortfolio…then College plus an indemnity increase…the list goes on. Splitting it helps and I know we get the VAT but 🙁
