Quick turn around and now I am off to start a PhD at the University of Edinburgh in collaboration with Scotland’s Rural College!✨

[Georgia Wells @Georgia_M_Wells]

Successfully defended my thesis yesterday for my MRes viva and officially graduating from the @RoyalVetCollege!

I would personally like to thank all of the pangolins for being such a cool species to study (and of course @JohnRHutchinson for his supervision)!🎓

[Georgia Wells @Georgia_M_Wells]

@onlyjackbaker @TheBotanics @EdinburghUni Amazing! I am also starting a PhD at Edinburgh! ☺️

[Georgia Wells @Georgia_M_Wells]

Made a Gif, thought it was fun! Thanks for the suggestion @VittorioLaBarb2 😁

[Georgia Wells @Georgia_M_Wells]

Completing my thesis on a random Thursday 💜🖤

Proud of my work and it’s been a privilege to be supervised by @JohnRHutchinson at @RoyalVetCollege

Time for a little break before defending my research in my viva!

[Pangolin Crisis Fund @PangolinCrisis]

🔍 The ground pangolin

▪️ AKA the Cape pangolin
▪️ Listed as Vulnerable
▪️ The second largest of all pangolins
▪️ The only pangolin species found in eastern and southern Africa
▪️ They are an entirely terrestrial species

University adequately summarised (especially when you have to work to fund your studies), but I still want nothing less than academic success

[Georgia Wells @Georgia_M_Wells]

I literally have no words- what will it take for humanity to peacefully coexist with wildlife?

[Blue Planet Society @Seasaver]

They actually did it. Freya the walrus has been killed by the Directorate of Fisheries in Norway.

Utterly disgraceful. https://t.co/N31reJ67i4

[Georgia Wells @Georgia_M_Wells]

@gernome Ahh can’t wait to share my work soon! I’d love to find out more about your project too!!

[Chester Zoo @chesterzoo]

Our conservationists in Uganda 🇺🇬 have captured incredibly rare new footage of the giant pangolin!

Take a glimpse into the secret life of this endangered species as they wrestle each other and catch a piggy back from mum 🎥

[Georgia Wells @Georgia_M_Wells]

@BibGuruHQ @dtpolet Sure I will email across some feedback! 😊- Although there were a few errors (as expected with any referencing software), BibGuru was user friendly and did still save me a lot of time referencing in the long run!

[Georgia Wells @Georgia_M_Wells]

Note to self: do not leave fixing your reference list format until completing your first thesis draft… that is 5 hours of my life I won’t get back 🙃

[Georgia Wells @Georgia_M_Wells]

@dtpolet I have been using BibGuru but after checking through my list it has missed out various things for different references and not formatted it properly 😫
