Interesting trip to London's V&A to see the Style of Marie Antoinette exhibition. Not many original pieces worn by her but lots of copies from films, plus paintings, sculptures - and dresses inspired by her.

Yea! My book on 'William Bligh - that Bounty bastard' hits the streets today! Yet to see my author's copy but it's always an exciting time. I seemed to have finished writing it ages and ages ago (am now well into my NEXT book, on 18thC food and drink). Thank you, Pen & Sword!
