There’s clearly much more to learn about the technology, custody, networks and risks, but today was a solid step in understanding the ecosystem beyond just holding USDT.
What are thoughts? 🤔
Today’s session with Cleva and Tether gave me a different perspective on what stablecoins actually mean.
What stood out to me is how stablecoins can make access to dollar-denominated value and global payments more accessible.

I used to see USDT simply as “digital dollars,” but I now understand the bigger picture: why USDT is designed to stay around $1, how reserves, liquidity and arbitrage help maintain that stability, and why stable doesn’t automatically mean risk-free.

Excessive Borrowing Without Accountability: Further Affirmation of Imprudent Governance.
President Bola Tinubu's administration has engaged in remarkably imprudent borrowing, escalating Nigeria's total debt to approximately N200 trillion. This represents an increase of over N100 trillion within a mere three years, a stark contrast to the roughly N49 trillion accumulated during President Muhammadu Buhari's eight-year tenure, which would have projected to around N80 trillion. As millions of Nigerians grapple with the shock of this unsustainable debt accumulation, the situation is exacerbated by the government's reckless approach to borrowing and a profound absence of accountability and transparency in the utilisation of these funds.
For instance, data from the Federation's Budget Office reveals that the Bola Tinubu government borrowed N11.89 trillion in the first three quarters of 2025 (January to September), exceeding the planned borrowing target of N10.34 trillion by approximately N1.54 trillion. Under a responsible and accountable government, such an overshoot would necessitate rigorous scrutiny and explanation from relevant governmental bodies. Regrettably, this is not the reality under the current administration.
Compounding this issue, only N3.10 trillion of the borrowed funds was allocated to capital expenditure during the same January-September 2025 period. This constitutes a mere 17.66% of the N17.58 trillion earmarked for capital projects, leaving a deficit of roughly N14.48 trillion, or 82.34% of planned capital expenditure unfunded.
The most disturbing aspect of the financial management fiasco under Bola Tinubu is that there is no explanation or information regarding how the balance was utilised or deployed. The question that Nigerians are rightly asking and deserve an answer to is what happened to the balance? Was it deployed for recurrent expenditure/ consumption, for the entertainment of guests to Aso Rock or transferred to the Renewed Hope Agenda 2027 Election Campaign Fund? Nigerians deserve an answer on how our economy and resources are most unpatriotically managed.
A New and Productive Nigeria is POssible, and Nigeria will be OK!

Dear men,
Whenever your fellow man comes to beg you for forgiveness, you may wish to forgive him.
But make sure you keep your distance.
Even your blood brother.
Men have egos as large as an elephant.
But as fragile as an egg.
Exceptions should be your biological sons.
End.

The UK, a struggling economy, whose Steel Company is struggling, saw a proper mugu & gave him a royal tour. Then they praised his Jollof rice & spoke pidgin & the mugu signed & guaranteed a £746 million on behalf of Nigeria. A loan that benefits the UK & his man Chagoury

When I was in 200l, my phone was stolen. I had the option of saving from my pocket money to buy a good phone but I rejected it. I used torchlight phone for a year. My friends who had less pocket money than me saved to buy good phone and wore new clothes. Blackberry was reigning so it made sense to want to jump on it.
My priority was my food. I wasn't going to alter my feeding for phone. I went to the main market on weekend and did proper shopping to cook. Ironically, I was feeding the people using their money to buy phone and clothes. Buying phone meant they had to hold their stomach.
My point is, everyone has what matters to them. Your money will go where your priority is.
Men need God more than women do.
Devil needs women more than he needs men.
Any married man that fails to acknowledge God in his life, will give the devil a field day.
And I'm not talking about organized religion.

I went to school when Goodluck Jonathan was President. That was during Nigeria's economic boom. Yet, I saw people struggle to pay N12k for school fees. I saw people come to school with N2k, N5k as pocket money. Some came with foodstuff and "remember the home you came from."
Flight to Benin was between N12k to N18k. I usually went to school, filling the biggest travelling box with provision, and it cost me N30k to do that. My pocket money was between N25 to N30k and it was sufficient. I was feeding my friends in hostel and was named most generous person in the hostel. I went to a to secondary school with children of the rich, so I already knew the other reality of life. What I was seeing in UNIBEN was a far cry. To do everything I listed above today, you need over 500k because this government has plunged us into darkness.
Now, in 2026, when our lives should have significantly improved from the progress made by the GEJ government, we went from the clueless Buhari to killer of hope Tinubu. Exchange rate is over the roof. Flight is exorbitant. Feeding is a luxury. School fees is out of the reach of two income household. People are dying daily because they cant afford health care. The government is taxing people to death. Yet, we have clowns defending the cost of living in a country that minimum wage is N70k.
Meanwhile, the money released for health care of 200m people was N36 million naira. NNPC stole N210 Trillion but it is the masses that should be taxed to raise money and the masses that should have to endure economic hardship and pay exorbitant fee to get the available poor quality education. Today, people are paying above 100k to 500k for public education. Nonsense!
I am very convinced you people defending this are mad and with all due disrespect, you're very mad.
