On May 19, 2026, the Embassy of Germany in Liberia welcomed students of Notre Dame University-Liberia for an engaging and insightful courtesy visit focused on diplomacy, international relations, and the longstanding bilateral relationship between Liberia and Germany.
The meeting further featured an engaging question-and-answer session where students discussed diplomacy, international cooperation, regional politics, visa processes, and the challenges faced by diplomats.

DAAD’s In-Country/In-Region Programme has recently published new Calls for Scholarship Applications starting in spring 2027.
Scholarships will be awarded for newly selected Master’s programmes at selected institutions in Nigeria and South Africa in the fields of Natural Sciences and Social Sciences.
Further calls for programmes in further fields will follow in autumn 2026!
