@footsteps_pod Dear Matt, oh dear, I am sorry. Get better soon and please reduce the pain by having a nice drink as medication. Thank you for your podcasts especially the route to Ypres. Excellent. All good wishes, Gerald
@sommecourt@OldFrontLinePod Especially in Uncle Percyโs hands! The horror trenches day by night, terrible conditions and constant threat. Uncle Percy thought battles were bad but the constant fear was worse.
He was an expert poacher which he thought helped!
@sommecourt Oh dear, very sad. An inspiration and wonderful guide who has led me and so many others on journeys of discovery. The Holts and Rose Coombs were my introduction and made all the difference before the internet and sat navs.
He joins the great band of wonderful people in heaven
@sommecourt Never forgotten- thank goodness. How blessed we are to have had caring, supportive and loving parents. Your parents are with you in spirit and recognise your special skills that enrich our lives. Thank you.
@footsteps_pod Dear Matt, please look after yourself and take time to recover completely before thinking of the podcast. They are brilliant and we can catch up on a previous episode.
