🚨 Britain has missed out on nearly £2 TRILLION of investment 👉 mostly thanks to Brexit

Oxford Economics estimates that if Britain had invested at the OECD average of 22.5% of GDP, an additional £1.9 trillion would have flowed into our economy since 2000.

Of 38 advanced OECD economies, only Greece performed worse.

The identified barriers are painfully familiar: badly designed business taxation, expensive energy, planning and construction constraints and relentless policy instability.

🔥 Brexit was the greatest recent example of that instability: deliberately erecting barriers between British businesses and their largest market.

Wealth does not strengthen Britain merely by residing here. Productive investment creates infrastructure, energy security, homes, businesses, skilled jobs and higher living standards.

The answer is not another round of austerity, indiscriminate deregulation or allowing mobile billionaires to dictate our tax policy.

Britain needs stable government, sustained productive investment and renewed access to the European Single Market.

If you cut, isolate and impoverish a country, it only becomes poor and irrelevant.

The European Union & it's predecessors have delivered unprecedented peace & prosperity for almost 70 years. Just because a small majority of UK voters, 10 years ago, chose to inflict self-harm on the UK, doesn't change these core truths. A decision might be popular, but also disastrous; Brexit was both. All that matters now is quickly reversing that terrible choice, which effectively punctured the tyres on the vehicle of economic growth. Millions of under 30's who couldn't vote in 2016, including my 3 kids, now deserve to have their voices heard.

This is not that country anymore. This is Trump’s America, and Trump’s America has exactly one client: Trump. Russia arms Iran with supersonic missiles and he says nothing, because silence keeps him safe. Children die in Odesa and Kyiv and he blames the country being bombed.

Every decision runs through the same filter. Not what protects America, not what defends the free world its predecessors built, but what protects one frightened man. The nation that once stared down Moscow now looks away, because looking away is the only move that keeps Trump, Vance and Rubio safe. Russia cannot win on the battlefield, so it kills kids in their sleep, and Washington says nothing.

But listen. Europe will never forget. Ukraine will never forget. Japan and South Korea will never forget. Poland and the Baltics will remember who stayed silent, Britain and the Nordics will remember who folded, and Canada certainly will never forgive.
