Today, 18 pupil barristers were called to the Bar of NI alongside AG for Eng & Wales Richard Hermer KC & Solicitor General Sarah Sackman KC MP.
Also pictured is the Lady Chief Justice who provided warm words & sage advice to our fledgling barristers.
It is with deep regret that the Law Society of Northern Ireland notifies members of the passing of retired Resident Magistrate, John Fyffe, Solicitor on 10/01/24. The Society offers its deepest condolences to his family, colleagues and friends.

Gareth Lee loses his application to the human rights court because he had not invoked his human rights at any point in the UK proceedings. By relying only on NI anti-discrimination law, he had deprived courts in the UK of the opportunity of addressing the human rights issues.
