For I dance
And drink and sing,
Till some blind hand
Shall brush my wing.
If thought is life
And strength and breath,
And the want
Of thought is death,
Then am I
A happy fly,
If I live,
Or if I die.
~ William Blake ~

@SoundsIrish I love the sound of a woodpecker working away in the woods, it's exciting to hear.
Thank you for sharing your enthusiasm, it's infectious.
@WriterHannahBT Goldfinches, a charm.
My local blackbird has started to sing too, tentatively, half hidden, but ready to announce himself to the world ๐ฅฐ

@JanetteHall@Natures_Voice@Britnatureguide@BBCSpringwatch goes on.Meanwhile the sun and the clear pebbles of the rainare moving across the landscapes,over the prairies and the deep trees,the mountains and the rivers.Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air,are heading home again.Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
This morning as I went out to feed my local robin I was greeted by three Ring-Necked Parakeets who are part of a much larger local flock? What is the collective term? I'm going with "Carnival", until I hear otherwise.
