Any benefits were personal, thus kind of supporting that she thought they had a genuine best friendship. You know, it's hard to grow when everyone seems to only see the worst.

@Princes15082551 @NewbornMilf @pastel_belle I agree. She was the first to confess that she *blindly* defended Shane because he was her very best friend for a decade. I've done the same. It's not fair to cut her down to someone who only befriends someone if it "benefits" her. She's human and has genuine feelings and needs.

@hardlypretty @RavenBird_19 @RichLux713 David was also informed about the assault 3 mos after it occurred, and he chose to keep it a secret- even from the other members of the Vlog Squad. Clearly he hoped it would just be buried. He shouldn't have protected a criminal he called a friend, at the victim's expense.

@RawBeautyKristi Also, as far as parenting fears: find yourself a good, honest, humorous "mom" blog. Sometimes you just need to be reminded that you aren't alone and someone else is going through the exact same issues and have the same fears. You may walk away with some excellent advice to boot.

@RawBeautyKristi When you're having a moment of anxiety, worry, regret, etc. Try to think: what would your honest perspective on (this) be if it was your best friend going through it? Chances are you're being harder on yourself than you would anyone else on the planet... Also- you're your bestie.
