I don’t know if I should throw up or cry watching some of these #gymnastics routines. My little heart can’t take this pressure and all I’m doing is sitting (and screaming) on the couch #xfinitychampionships
Because this is basically just a “this-is-your-mood-board” for me to remember things, I feel it necessary to post that we have devolved into the messy-tears-of-all-the-feelings portion of the proceedings and trying hard to remember that there’s nothing wrong with crying
Just screaming & jumping for joy in my empty apartment, so excited for all my non-best friends that feel like my best friends who have no idea who I am, and am genuinely sad I don’t have an office to go into today to run into aforementioned best friends to shower them with praise
Hotel bathrooms are like, “YAAAS QUEEN, it’s about you took a break! Enjoy yourself and relax. Oh, by the way, you’ll be forced to stare at your body from all the unflattering angles at all times thanks to the mirrors that are this entire room.”
When you’re about to take a long, early morning international flight and you spend too much time debating whether or not to pull an all nighter, even though the car is picking you up earlier than the time you normally go to bed
Now that the SAG-AFTRA strike is finally over (yay!), can #HSMTMTS take a well-deserved victory lap? The whole series was an absolute triumph and all I want is for these incredibly talented young’uns to bask in their glory!
I feel like I’m too old to have cried as much as I did during the last few eps of #HSMTMTS. Maybe it’s because I’m so removed from high school that made it so emotional? And that I left my theater job after 6 years? And the nostalgia is so real? And everyone else cried that much?
So if Broadway isn’t “overly-saturated” with musicals about female empowerment, can the next one be written by a woman? And not include a subplot about a closeted gay character who only comes out/discovers their sexuality when meeting someone of the same gender? Kay thanks, bye
Apparently, wanting to send ill-advised tweets at 7am after Closings is my way of saying I’m still single and mad about it because it seems easier to shout it into the void than to actually attempt a conversation with the fake boyfriends in my head
Today was the first day I’ve left my apartment without wearing a mask and I had to work ridiculously hard to keep my face in check and not mumble to myself. It almost feels not worth it
One of the horrifying things about being single in your 30s is when you hear about people who have been together for 8 years who finally decided to get engaged. I don’t have that kind of time in me!
I’m astounded by two things from the #TonyAwards: It’s embarrassing how wrong so many of my guesses were when essentially seeing every contender; I’ll always be mad when they don’t include the technical categories in the main broadcast, but they couldn’t even mention any winners?
The irony of the #WGAstrike is that without late night shows, I finally have the time to make free subscriptions of all the streamers worth it, but I have absolutely no interest in supporting them in the slightest right now
I don’t know what it says about the state of our schools or the arts when I walk into an elementary school with a metal detector, and am immediately waved through without checking in or having my bags checked when I tell them I don’t have a DOE badge but am here to work on a play
More single men should hang out at a super cute, independently/Asian/woman-owned bookstore in Chinatown on a Friday night at 8pm. Now that’s a story I’d be willing to tell the grandchildren
