"Our investigation has revealed that it is vehemently denied that any pressure was exerted or even an opinion expressed by the Standarte, the Sturmbann, or the Sturm. However, it was very interesting to learn that the immense discontent within the Standarte in Breslau stemmed from the fact that a pastor had the clumsiness—not to say tastelessness—of rejecting the placement of the two Sig runes, the insignia of the SS, on the gravestone of an SS man, dismissing them as HEATHEN symbols.
The Church doesn't need to search for anyone to drive the SS men out of the church; it takes care of that itself with such actions."

National Socialist Cultural Community speech affirms that the Catholic church burned 34,000 innocent people in the Inquisition. ‼️
______________________
"In a letter dated 3 March 1937 from the District Cultural Office Oberviechtach-Waldmünchen, we were informed that Professor Max Gruhl, on the occasion of an event held by the NS Cultural Community Waldmünchen, stated that in the age of the Inquisition approximately 34,000 people were burned, most of them innocent.
In response to these remarks by the speaker, the (Catholic) parish office of Waldmünchen took the following position, which appeared in the Kirchenanzeiger of 28 February 1936:
“Special attention is drawn to the parish announcement which will be read from the pulpit on Sunday, 28 February, during all divine services, in order to correctly present and refute the speaker’s assertion from last Wednesday that in the age of the Inquisition church authorities burned 34,000 people.”
We request that the Reich Office provide us promptly with an authentic statistical figure concerning the number of burnings ordered by church authorities during the period of the Inquisition. We believe that the figure given by Professor Max Gruhl can HARDLY be considered exaggerated, since the Inquisition extended over a period of 4–5 centuries.
We would be grateful for a prompt reply."

Germany’s Terrifyingly Massive WW2 Siege Monster 🔥💥
During World War II, Germany built the Karl-Gerät, one of the largest and most terrifying siege weapons ever created.
Weighing a massive 127 tons, this enormous self-propelled mortar fired 600mm shells capable of destroying entire buildings and fortified positions with a single shot. Only seven of these monsters were ever built due to their size and complexity.

If a family insisted on a church burial, the SS leadership instructed its unit commanders to let the SS ceremony begin only once the priest was gone.

"For the God-believing [Gottgläubigen], provide care at the grave; speak briefly but in a soldierly manner, always taking the middle path. For a family with church support, wait until the priest is gone. In the event of the death of an SS woman, the Unit Leader is also present at the funeral." [1]
In 1939, the SS Head Office decreed that:
"SS-Obergruppenführer Heissmeyer further gave the instruction that, when using Christian cemetery halls for a funeral conducted solely by the SS, the Christian symbols (crucifixes, etc.) should be covered by flags, unless there is any possibility of laying out the body outside such places." [2]
Interestingly, deceased SS women were entitled to SS memorial ceremonies only if they were Gottgläubig:
"For deceased SS women, insofar as they are Gottgläubig and not bound by the church, ceremonies are to be held in an SS-worthy manner. For these ceremonies, the RF-SS order and the implementing regulations issued by me on 31.8.42 are to be applied mutatis mutandis" [3]
In 1942 SS-Obergruppenführer Gottlob Berger relayed an order from the SS-Hauptamt:
"If a church funeral is to take place, the relatives should be approached to determine that the church funeral should be only one part of the overall ceremony, thus avoiding the simultaneous occurrence of the SS memorial service and the church service. If necessary, negotiations should be held with the relevant church authority. If no agreement can be reached, the ceremony should be structured in such a way that it does not merely provide a framework for the church service, but rather demonstrates its independent character."
