We have spent this week as a school community remembering our wonderful Year 11 student, Ryan, who will always hold a special place in our hearts. Our thoughts and support remain with his family and friends during this difficult time.
Yesterday it was the turn of Year 8 to have an extended festive lunch. Entertained by music from the staff and student bands and games of heads and tails!
We held Christmas dinner today for our Year 7 students – as per tradition they were entertained by our Student band and Staff Band playing some festive songs while they ate. 🎄🎅

Students in Year 8 & 9 visited the Warner Bros Studio on Thursday , for “The Making of Harry Potter” tour, where students witnessed at close quarters the artistry, technology and talent involved in producing these movies.
Today we celebrated the incredible contributions of our Teaching Assistants. Prospero Teaching organised a TA Recognition Day so our SENCoinvited staff to nominate TAs who have gone above and beyond in their roles.

On Sunday, our head prefects represented our school & paid their respects as they laid a wreath during the Remembrance Service in Andover. Monday, students who are members of uniformed groups took part in a ceremony in school.
As part of knife crime awareness week (#OpSceptre), Year 9 students had a talk from @YBRPYouMatter @AndoverPolice and Warren – who spoke about his life experiences and the dangers of knife crime and other street crimes.
Year 9 historians have started presenting their 'create a WW1 trench' projects in class - demonstrating their understanding of WWI trench conditions through mediums ranging from cakes, paintings, poetry, models of trenches and annotated diagrams to Minecraft walkthroughs.
Congratulations to the winners of the golden broom awarded for the tidiest and best presented room. And to the boys who lifted the bronze plunger and silver toilet brushes of course!
