Can’t believe it’s thirty years , this album still surprises me. It’s long, meditative and still works.

"after they've done it for a couple of years they learn how to make chords and stuff, and it's not so interesting now"
Maduro's not a good guy, agreed. But neither is Putin, and Trump rolled out the red fucking carpet for him. It's not about dope, it's about oil (which kinda IS dope).
Just when you think Trump has hit the gutter, he bounces lower.
El verano acabó, tras él un silencio se rompe.

On this day in 1967, Strange Days by @thedoors was released — a landmark not only in rock history, but synthesizer history as well.
🎛️ This session is recognized as one of the earliest appearances of a Moog on a major rock record.
For the title track, Jim Morrison’s vocals were routed through a Moog modular synthesizer. Their engineer, Bruce Botnick, later explained that the Moog wasn’t simply layered on top… it was actively used to play and reshape Morrison’s voice in real time, creating a warped, otherworldly effect that perfectly captured the album’s atmosphere. 🪐
What started as experimental sound design in the hands of innovators like The Doors would soon evolve into a cornerstone of modern production, inspiring generations of artists to push boundaries with synthesis.
