I recently saw some people state that “other writers are competitors”. But I don’t think of fellow writers as competition- in most cases, they’re actually my closest friends & also my biggest supporters🤷‍♀️. So... what’s your opinion on this?

Surpassed the 5k mark on my new project. Settled on taking place in the 90's, a truly magical time before widespread internet and video game cheats were spread via magazine and word-of-mouth.

Plotting is completed and I have about 2000 words into the story I have been kicking around the last few days. The feel is still X-files/True Detectives/Law and Order/Buffy? Urban Arcana is a fun setting and we will see where it goes.

Spent the end part of yesterday plotting first part of a story idea. Used the "What If..." exercise. In my case, "What if you found out you had psychic powers?". What I plotted feels very X-men/X-Files, which I dig! See where it goes... now need to start writing... ;)
