@NoBoilerplate@sstur_ Sorry I didn't get back to you. I do have plans to open-source some ported React apps, but have had to deal with other priorities lately.
More importantly, I just saw your video and wow! Absolutely nailed it. My excitement for Yew was already high, and that video just doubled it
@NoBoilerplate@sstur_ So if I had to speculate, on those metrics alone, I would guess that they are comparable, and that Yew might even come out a bit ahead, depending on what's being built.
@NoBoilerplate@sstur_ Having said that, I already rewrote a complex auth flow from a React app with Yew. It is an absolute blast to work with, and really impressive. Being able to think and work in React's concepts with all of the benefits of Rust is quite addictive.
@NoBoilerplate@sstur_ Current downsides: 1. The bundle size can get unwieldy, even for simple apps (optimizable I'd think). 2. There will always be a bottleneck with the DOM until the Interface Types proposal is implemented, and it's currently inactive. As in, "maybe we'll come back to it someday".
