Walked into the local pizza shop today. Slice man saw me and immediately started loading two cheese into the oven. Had to rush to tell him I already called in a salad for lunch today… what have I become #sad

This post fired me the fuck up this morning. Mass media, social media and the talking heads will always show the ugliness of any situation. We are not perfect, no one is, but at our core Americas heart beats as one. Best country on the goddamn planet 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
This is why American is different. No disrespect to anybody else or other countries. Just speaking to and about middle class America. You can believe all you want about the power of the elite class riding around on yachts, private country club memberships, politicians using their platforms to divide and to enrich themselves and think they are better than everybody else.
When you get into the heart of America. This is what you get. This picture symbolizes America. There are still badasses by the C130 loads in this country. Don't let social media fool you. Please don't. Those boot wearing, blood spitting, potato eating SOB's are the silent majority I promise you. When it's time to kick ass and take names. They will be there. They won't be recording with their Iphones, driving Lexus SUVs. They won't be wearing Gucci shoes and Peter Millar golf shirts, Smathers and Branson belts but you'll know they are there. You won't hear them. You will see them. This picture symbolizes this country. Its toughness has never wavered from it's founding to modern day. It doesn't give up. It's gets knocked down, gets up and fights. So when you see that man with dirty hands, dirty boots, torn jeans missing a tooth, calluses on his hands and two toddlers hanging off his arm after a 14hr work day. Just know...that is America. That is the United States of America. That is the majority. Judge them how you want but never under estimate their resolve when their back is against the wall.

“Honestly, it was awesome. He’s understood it the whole time. I think he had a real good idea that Brock was getting there, was going to be ready this week. It wasn’t something that I really had to have a big meeting with or anything, but I did before we went out on the practice field.
I did call him in just to tell him how much I appreciated, how well he played during that time and to thank him for it. I was joking with just a second ago with Matt, but my wife always tells me I can give compliments more. I just assume people know, she goes, 'people don’t always just assume how you think'. I’m like, how can he not think that? I don’t need to tell him that. He definitely knows how good I think he played. But maybe my wife’s right. Maybe I should let him know. And so I just called him in and said that I appreciated it.
And he’s like, 'hey man, I enjoyed it. I’m going to go have fun on the scout team today. And I’ll be ready if I’m ever needed again'.
So Mac handled it great since the beginning. Him and Brock have been studs together in the room together. They help each other a ton. They enjoy each other. And I’m really pumped to have him this year and I’m really pumped that we have him next year also.”
