No officer was 'deported' from Mekelle. He was told his appointment is not considered legitimate because any appointment after October 5 is unacceptable in Tigray. The decision was not however based on the identity, status or affiliation of the officer involved, just on principle

Tigray won't recognize any deal on the #GERD which we have reason to believe is in the pipeline. Blaming @realDonaldTrump for disclosing Egypt's threat to blow up the dam and @AbiyAhmedAli's treasonous deal on the GERD- is totally uncalled for.@AbiyAhmed is a traitor.

With the expiry of @AbiyAhmedAli' s administration on the 5th of October, Tigray won't recognize any decision by the Warlord in Arat Killo such as the restructuring of the Army, the estabilishment of new commands or any deal that compromises Ethiopia's national interest.

The #NorthernCommand is getting a third commander in less than a year. Diriba Mekonnen, who took over as head of the command from Getachew Gudina barely a year ago has now been relieved of his post. The musical chairs by @AbiyAhmed will see Belay Seyoum take over Diriba's role.

Apparently, #ENDF has decided to reinstate the #Centralcommand. The #Centralcommand, which was based in #Shire before #AbiyAhmed decided to scrap it barely a year ago is being moved to #AddisAbeba. Obviously, the #Republicanguard is not good enough to protect #AbiyAhmed.

#abiyahmed again let down his dwindling support base by describing his #medemer nonsense in terms of locust swarms that destroy swathes of farmland in a matter of hours. That #Abiy and his #PP have soft spot for locust speaks volumes about their antipathy towards poor peasants.

And under normal circumstances, Demeqe should have been coordinating anti locust efforts in the country in general and in the Amhara Region in particular. As the most obsequious lieutenant of Abiy Ahmed Ali, this obviously is not part of his job description.
