We mourn the passing of our colleague Ayub Khan at Ampang Hospital this morning due to Covid-19. Ayub was a dedicated humanitarian and worked with many NGOs and the UN, both in Myanmar and Malaysia. He leaves behind his wife and 3 year old daughter. Farewell, Brother Ayub.
Refugee-led organizations like @GeutanyoeM have always been able to deliver services and programming when other actors cannot. The time is now to start directly funding refugee-led organizations and valuing them as indispensable players in the global refugee system. #ByRefugees

81 Rohingya refugees landed in a small wooden boat on an unhabited Indonesian island on Friday. Within 24 hours, they've received their first dose of a coronavirus vaccine. Impressive.
