No matter whether someone is illegal or whether you don’t want them in your country, people can protest and pressure their government to take action through the law. But ordinary citizens have no right to assault, kick, or maltreat others. That will never make sense unless some people are using the situation as an excuse to loot, attack others, or cause destruction. The South African government needs to take action to maintain law and order and protect everyone from violence.
