Pleased to be at the @UN Transshipment Hub today at the Turkish-Syrian border. I saw trucks loaded with vaccines, blankets and other aid - all have been checked before leaving to north-west Syria.

I applaud the efforts of colleagues involved in this giant operation.

“We’re in a race against time in terms of life-saving activities.”

In #Somalia, our Director of Operations Ghada witnessed firsthand the devastating impact the drought has on lives & livelihoods.

We plead for an immediate mobilization of resources to prevent the worst outcome.
