Another week, another breach

Some #OpenAI and #Anthropic AI agents went rogue during testing and gained unauthorized access to outside systems.

While some AI institutions detailed how this happened, there was no mention of the reason.

From my own understanding (not a fact), there are two possible options here:

Option 1: A human tester during the testing phase instructed those AI agents to attempt and gain access to outside systems

Option2: Those AI agents actually broke free and sought access to iutside systems independently
