Pakistan’s military and civilian government seem busy putting enormous effort into negotiating a peace deal between #Trump and Iran. I wish they would show the same initiative in addressing unrest and tensions with Afghanistan and India.
TRUMP: “If Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Pakistan, Türkiye, Egypt and Jordan do not sign on to the Abraham Accords, we’re not going to move forward with an Iran deal. Those countries owe it to us.”
Trump is literally holding the world hostage to further Israel’s interests.
This on and off war and peace game seems to be more about financial gain, creating swings in oil prices while Trump damages the global economy, including the U.S. economy.
This is truly unfortunate. A young man lost his life simply because of hostility toward his father. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
For decades Afghans living and traveling in Western countries worked hard to build and maintain a good reputation by living decent lives as lawabiding citizens. Unfortunately the actions of some recent refugees risk damaging that reputation.
Recent events have given Russia, India, and the United States different kinds of reality checks after becoming involved in wars or military conflicts. Historically these moments have either led countries to wake up, adapt, and better prepare or they have slowly eroded even the most powerful nations. What the next decade looks like is anyone’s guess.
Social media seems to be changing politics on the ground so drastically that money and established networks can no longer control, or even prevent, the shift.
Thomas Massie: "My opponent canceled events because no one showed up. The ground game is ours."
This is the new political reality: The old media - can't control the narrative anymore. Young Voters know AIPAC is spending millions to crush Massie. And they're not buying the swamp's propaganda
While Israel appears keen on pulling the U.S. and others into a prolonged war, Iran and the Trump administration should find ways to come to terms, or simply end the conflict for the sake of everyone around the world already feeling the burden of rising energy costs and economic uncertainty.
The Iran war has hurt America’s standing globally and raised China’s importance to the point where Trump may have to swallow his ego and ask Beijing to help intervene to clean up the mess.
UN is no longer about serving people. It is worried about declining aid money because that money funds its own salaries, perks, and spending habits. Afghanistan has seen this before with USAID. Aid money meant for people too often disappears into the system before reaching them.
Despite a relative decline in the number of people facing food insecurity in Afghanistan, the United Nations says millions of people continue to struggle with hunger, poverty, and malnutrition.

Sometimes people will never understand what you’ve been through during an election. This one is for the haters, the ones who told people I wasn’t a real Muslim, called me a Zionist for believing in the two state solution, called me Taliban because my father is a Southern Pashto speaking Afghan, sent me death threats to silence me for speaking on foreign policy. All that to try and make sure I wasn’t re-elected in Roxeth. This one is for you! I weathered all these attacks and won my third term. I even topped the ballot with the most votes. Hope you’re feeling well today 🙂
For decent sensible people, I hope this gives you hope that you can win in the face of hate.
You can be proud of where you come from, what languages you speak, and stand for the politics of unity over division and still win!
Believe in yourself and what you stand for and people will believe in you and not the attacks others throw at you.
Thank you to the people of Roxeth for standing with me in the face of these attacks and re-electing me for a third term 🤍🙏🏼 #FourMoreYears #Roxeth #Labour
Iran may have a higher tolerance for economic pain—but the pain is excruciating as regime reveals 100% inflation in just days on some items https://t.co/5wt32fSRpl via @@YahooFinance
When you look at land grabbing cases sold to the general public under false pretenses whether involving public or private land, court judgments are often quite similar. If a commercial developer is involved their personal assets may be seized and auctioned off to compensate for the land. Otherwise the land value is assessed and recovered either in cash or over time, usually at a discounted rate so the general public is not unfairly harmed.
The IRGC may be able to fire a few more rockets but it will not be able to stop Iran’s economic decline unless it soon finds a way to realign itself with the GCC. Otherwise, it risks total selfdestruction and could drag other countries down with it
Throughout history, dictatorships, kingdoms, and republics have fallen not because they were short of funds, arms, or ammo but because their leaders were surrounded by yes men who could not, and would not, tell them the truth.
Good news. It seems there may be some understanding between the Americans and Iranians that senior Iranian leadership will not be targeted. That may explain why Araghchi is able to travel with relative ease. Hopefully this is the beginning of an end to the hostilities
We arrive in Islamabad, Pakistan, for an official visit. FM Araghchi will be meeting with Pakistani high-level officials in concert with their ongoing mediation & good offices for ending American imposed war of aggression and the restitution of peace in our region.
No meeting is planned to take place between Iran and the U.S. Iran's observations would be conveyed to Pakistan.
