Last month we also celebrated World Social Work Day 😀 it was an amazing day of celebrating all of the hard work our Gateshead Social Care staff do day in and day out! ❤️ #wswd2024

In January we ran a CSC and Life Long Learning Conference bringing together our Social Care and Education staff.

Themes covered: Trauma Informed, Inclusion, Young Ambassadors, Safeguarding, School Outcomes, Early Help 1001, Post 16 offer.

We plan to run this annually! 😃

We held Workshop 1 for our NQSW's yesterday! It was great to get everyone together and inform our NQSW's what they can expect from their #ASYE Year here at #gateshead. We even had a special guest @AndreaHoulahan, our Deputy Strategic Director to give our NQSW's a warm welcome. 😀

Finished off the NQSW’s first week with us with a lovely welcome lunch. This was a great way to make connections and network with managers and staff throughout the service over a spot of lunch!😄 #asye #gatesheadcouncil

Next up, Mockingbird and the Fostering Service, our Young Women and Girls’ Advocate, Behaviour Change Programme and the Domestic Abuse team. We are so fortunate to have all these services within @gateshead Council that our NQSWs can make links with throughout their ASYE & beyond
