@GhiaeeShayan did an incredible job this morning presenting his Best of the Best innovation at #CORDAA23 and he’s an intern! Imagine what’s to come. @EmoryEM
These are just some of the amazing, strong, & intelligent OB/GYNs of @EmoryGynOb. This is the best team an EM intern could ask to learn from. Today, I vote for them & all women. I vote for science & for healthcare. I vote for common sense. It’s not too late #Vote2022#MedTwitter
You aren’t entitled to your wrong opinions. Overturning Roe set the US back 50+ years, & this is just the beginning. So many birth-capable individuals are in danger. So many fundamental rights are in danger. Stand up, speak up, & protest, & let’s #CodifyRoeNOW#VoteThemAllOut2022
Spent yesterday morning with the amazing Dr. Dimitri Papanagnou @dmitripapa. I owe everything to this man. An amazing emergency physician, researcher, educator, mentor, role model, & friend. Truly a remarkable human being! @JeffEMRes@JeffersonUniv#MedTwitter#EMtwitter#MedEd
I was rejected by 50 medical schools the first time I applied and had to take the MCAT three times. Yesterday, I officially became Shayan Ghiaee, MD, MS, and am going to be an emergency physician at @EmoryEM#graduation2022#dontstopbelieving
Special thanks to my amazing mentors @dmitripapa, @xzhang09, @ChaiyaMD, @kek02013, my girlfriend @erica_westlake (also a brand new doctor on her way to @CooperEMed!), my amazing family, my beloved late mother, and the friends without whom none of this would’ve been possible!
Words cannot explain how incredibly thankful I am to be spending the next three years becoming an emergency physician at Emory! See you soon ATL and @EmoryEM!
Special thanks to @dmitripapa and @xzhang09 for their mentorship and friendship

ER -> Saint Bernard
Will rescue anyone, anytime, anywhere. Works to exhaustion but sulks if left out of any fun. Tolerant and loving, referred to as saint for a reason. (May we suggest not skiing in a snow storm though?)
