This morning as I hurriedly prepared for a busy day my house help came into my room and announced ‘didi aaj main ghar se aapke liye nashta lekar aayi, jaldi se kha lo, garam hai’.

Clicked a few years ago, while visiting the west bengal countryside. It was the crack of dawn & the atmosphere was still, as if holding its breath in #anticipation of the sunrise.

The still water held the reflection of the trees with a 'fragile- handle with care' quality.
