Tomorrow we’re trying out a new #ttrpg (to us) with #BubbleGumshoes. Gonna take this shit back to high school and solve some mysteries! Super excited to give it a try.
@addieplaysgames We started one in a jail boat and it kicked ass.
My favorite starting scene was in a garage unpacking old boxes. We ad-libbed little stories about things in the boxes to fill out character backgrounds and the world. “Quest” was found on a hidden note in an old letterbox.
@DeeConstruct20 Had to google Aeroplane jelly. Definitely didn’t even realize it was the Aus/UK version of “jelly” vs the American version. The American version would be a disaster of stickiness on everything.
I tend to use a lot of improv when I’m DMing, including randomly creating a volcanic eruption plot during our last session. Now I’m stuck trying to make the encounter interesting. Anyone got any suggestions?

Um. Excuse me, WHAT!? This is the most incredible suggestion I’ve ever heard! Edible maps is such a wild and awesome idea!
@__mgodwin__ , is this good enough for us to play live again?!?!
@GhostMouseCast Ooh! Edible grid map! Pieces of it crumble away (into bellies) as the lava disrupts it from underneath. Players must complete mission objective before a certain amount of area disappears.
