Today, we commemorate Firefighters' Memorial Day.

We honor the bravery and sacrifice of all firefighters who have died while serving their communities.

Flags will be flown at half-mast from sunrise to sunset, and we will observe a minute of silence at 12pm to remember them.

Police Dog Kaiser @MetTaskforce is "lucky to be alive" and an officer is facing weeks off work with a broken wrist following a knife attack in #Orpington

Despite being stabbed in the head five times, Kaiser kept hold of the man until he was arrested.
