@804_local@UPS You want to pay employees more when they damage customer packages and UPS equipment like this? The pay increase you're asking for is having to go to claims for all these damages.
@Marvn2584@rowdy_rubber@TdayTmo@Teamsters@UPS The union is offering 200 a week in strike funds. That's 1/5th of most people's paychecks. I don't see how 200/week will be livable for long.
@Teamsters@UPS Won't be hard, UPS will cut back routes and then layoff people if the strike goes on too long. And it won't be UPS out of a job. For Teamsters and UPS "working together" I see a lot of propaganda from just Teamsters.
@Teamsters We're expecting Part Time wages to accommodate cost of living? If so, why work a full time job? UPS pays their part time employees fairly for what little requirements and skill level needed for the job. With a second part time job, the employee should be fine.
@Teamsters@UPS The Teamsters have stopped negotiating despite historic proposals that build on our industry-leading pay. They have nearly a month left to negotiate. UPS have not walked away, and the union has a responsibility to remain at the table.
@Teamsters@UPS Refusing to negotiate, especially when the finish line is in sight, creates significant unease among employees and customers and threatens to disrupt the U.S. economy. Only our non-union competitors benefit from the Teamsters’ actions.

@Teamsters Best case for Teamsters, accept what UPS is offering. Worse case, try and go on strike, and then the government with intervene and make their own contract like they did with the Railroad union. You all don't want that.
@Teamsters All this talk about strikes, UPS pays fairly. It is Teamsters that screwed employees over with Seniority rights and only care about the drivers, not the inside employees. Teamsters will go on strike just to try to hurt UPS before they help their employees.

@Teamsters Lastly, its Teamsters that is offering their people 1/5th their normal weekly pay to go on strike, how helpful is that, and how long can you live off that. Sounds a money hog union and not a supportive union.
@Teamsters Teamsters top priority is the drivers, not the PT employees and inside employees. 2. Because of Teamsters, job promotions are based on seniority. 3. Teamsters is asking for support the IAM union that works for UPS to go on strike with them, but they will not support the IAM.
