Millie Odhiambo Mabona uses the floor of Parliament the way some people use a bar at closing time. Taxpayers pay for that microphone.

She spends it on remarks nobody asked for: that she is a “bad girl” and that is how she got the corner office; that men carry something between their legs and she carries a big item behind her back.

Male colleagues play along as if the exchange were debate. It is not debate. It is a scripted sideshow that could have been ignored or answered with an argument. She chooses the cheap line.

Then the clip is cut and sold. Pages such as Mutembei TV, Omwamba, Kenyans, Hilltech Media and LightCast TV take the segment, polish it and push it for notoriety.

Young women watching that loop learn the wrong lesson: that loud, sexual talk in a formal room is power. It is not power. It is a member of parliament treating the House like a content farm.

That is the climate in which a TikToker such as TheeLoveChild can stand at her father’s funeral and behave as if the burial were a live. No class. No sense of the day. A disgrace to the people sitting there and to other women who still treat a funeral as the last respect.

The topics she wanted to raise could have been filmed any other week. Family fights have their own rooms. A grave is not one of them. Doing it there was ugly, messy and borderline pathetic.

For years people said marriage was prestige and that a man with more than one wife sat even higher. Watch this circuit long enough and the prestige looks like cold githeri and two families at war.

I’d rather die with a rib-eye in-front of me, cooked medium to well, and a quiet table than that circus. Being single is perhaps not a curse after-all, if the alternative is this shit-show.
