Also my god, the character writing has had an INSANE jump in quality

I’m obsessed with Susie’s current character arc, Chapter 4 really solidified her as Toby Fox’s most well written character

Even Kris, who we only see character of in flashes, has SO MUCH put into them

Deltarune has officially surpassed Undertale for me

Even if the game isn’t fully complete:
>Gameplay is better and more varied
>Story is bigger and more fleshed out
>So many smaller details and optional content
>Way longer (even with just chapter 1 and 2 alone)

The music is pretty equal in quality to Undertale but some tracks def go above it for me

Plus the quality of the humor is just way better across the board, some of it is def “lol random” but the commitment to jokes is genuinely insane

Idk how many of y'all saw this but Scott was actually on a Smosh channel with other creators recently where they actually WERE talking about stuff like "are video games woke" and his responses were incredibly down to earth and genuine.
