✨LAUNCH🔮 We are pleased to announce the relaunch of our Spell Slot Vaults! Store up to 3 sets of dice and use the lid as a spell slot tracker! #dnd#ttrpg#dice
⭐️ Also NEW is the launch of our own d6 sets, Glacial Spring and Arcane Royalty! Both are now available in our shop!
@StatTrackersDnD You betcha! I try to incorporate them into an encounter, or make the trap an entire encounter itself.
I also utilize traps at the table. My players know to examine the chairs before they sit down. Keeps them on their toes 😉
@SirWahluigi @Role_Perform Fingerguns are awesome, but plus be careful in social situations when you're just trying to be friendly and accidentally blow a hole through someone.
Hey DMs:
How would you feel about changing the casting stat of a magic user for thematic purposes? For example, a bookworm Warlock who uses their Intelligence, or an influential Cleric that uses their Charisma?
#dnd5e#dnd#ttrpg
@hexbladezephyr @DnD_Lich Absolutely talk to your DM! If you explain your idea, most reasonable DMs will try to make it work, or at the very least work with you to make it happen somehow.
@vorpaldicepress @DnD_Lich It's definitely a case of sussing out the players that want it for thematic reasons versus those that want it because it's optimal and 'big number make best character'.
My opinion: Like any changes my players want to make to the game, if you can justify it, absolutely you can. This will also help WRT every other class using Charisma and cut down on dump stat Intelligence.
Very much this. Roleplaying may be therapeutic, but it can be a lot to put on other people, especially when they didn't sign up for it and just wanted to pretend to be elves and wizards.
seeing lots of meme tweets saying "haha DnD is free therapy!"
No
Stop.
I am a DM, and I may even be your friend.
but I am not a therapist, and I didn't consent to have you dump your entire life at my doorstep.
We are playing a game.
GM tip: One of the ways to immerse your players into your game is to make some handouts: A letter on faded parchment, a poem, bits and pieces of a map. Pirate maps are awesome as a kid and as a grownup! The extra time spent on these will pay off #dnd#ttrpg
I love seeing the crafts you all make, but I need more. If you make some cool items for TTRPGs, please share yourself here! If there's someone on here you want more people to see, post them too! Screens, cards, dice, accessories, whatever!
