It’s frustrating to see our parents, who have worked hard all their lives, still struggling to afford basic necessities. This economic disparity is real and it affects our daily lives. #RutoMustGo

C.S. Kipchumba Murkomen: The dress code of a police officer is not an excuse. The uniform is just for identification. All cases of excesses reported will be investigated equally. There is no known police squad that is involved in killing people.

This Ruto Regime is one failed government, holding on by a thread, I have just passed milimani road, pas integrity center... there are 1,2,3... 8 parked landcruisers full of Riot police...
The state is in constant panick! #RutoMustGo
After numerous space meetings and listening to ideas of Kenyans from all walks of life. Yesterday we arrived at this conclusion.
The FOCUS must shift to Members of Parliament.
MPs must evoke Article 145 of the constitution and impeach Ruto.
We must create a CRISIS so INTENSE in all 47 counties that forces the system to act.
“If you are silent about your pain, they’ll kill you and say you enjoyed it.”- Zora Neale Hurston
Today l turn 42 years old. Almost two months ago, Agather and l were abducted and tortured in the most inhumane and gruesome way. Our respective governments played a role in our torture. I come from a country where the president fought to get a convicted murderer, and also a drug trafficker held abroad, pardoned. For us, it took the efforts of our family, friends, and strangers on social media to fight for our release. The Tanzanian police did terrible things to us, and it will take time to heal, but none of the things they did broke our spirits.
Two months later, we're still struggling to walk properly due to the injuries inflicted during our torture, and some of the wounds will take time to heal. Mentally, it’s hard. The psychological and physical torture we went through left a hole in me. I wake up with severe pain in my chest - it's not physical, it’s emotional, like someone has pierced my heart. My heart hurts. A lot. When I’m seated and l quiet myself, my body becomes engulfed with an overwhelming sadness. I sometimes find myself crying alone. When l move, I’m in pain. I can take medication for the physical pain, but the mental anguish is too much, and there is no medicine for that.
Our torturers intended to break us, steal our sanity - and a part of me cracked a bit - but we survived and I know for sure that l will heal, and will never stop the good fight. My wounds will heal, and l will wear the scars left behind proudly.
I shall not let our torturers win by giving up the good fight. l will continue the struggle of fighting for a better Kenya, a better Africa, and a better world. Agather and l are alive and able to continue fighting because you fought for us. Thank you.
To celebrate my birthday, I shall take a break from social media for some time to focus on healing. I'm alive for a reason, and l will not let what happened to us define or scar me forever.
Don’t stop injecting, continue organising, and mobilising to ensure Kasongo is a one-term president. He cannot kill us, and lead us. #RutoMustGo
Officer Klinzy Masinde Baraza, who fatally shot mask vendor Boniface Kariuki Mwangi in Nairobi on June 17, appeared in court visibly shaken, crying, flanked only by his family.
Not a single official from the National Police Service showed up to support him.
Let this be a lesson.
When you kill, you’ll face it alone.
When you shoot someone in the leg on orders, you’ll still go to jail alone.
Those who give you these orders will be with their families as your kids visit you in jail
