@purrrfectpatch @megagoose11 Efficiency more engines behing used means better thrust to mass ratio meaning its more fuel efficient the 13 engine burn they did previously had to push the weight of the remaining and not running 20 engines aswell

the v2 ship is supposed to have raptor 3 in it's "final v2 design" anyway

The initial accelartion speed of starship v2 is lower then the initial accelartion speed of starship v1, v2 is about 0.28 gs of accelartion while v1 is about 0.42 gs this means that the separtion speed between booster and ship is lower which may cause more damage during hotstage

I took the speed the speed when all engines where lit and the the speed at which the ship was at 10 seconds after it may not be the cause but the heavier (300t more propelant) v2 ship needs more thrust
