Defending champion Carlos Alcaraz confirms that he’s playing the U.S. Open, which will be his first tournament in four months.
Expect him to play the mixed doubles before his singles…with a big name partner.
Still a bit of TBA but here’s most of the entry list for next week’s US Open mixed doubles extravaganza.
Lots of highly ranked doubles specialists are getting the chance to earn spots via a qualifying draw this year.
The just need to make 6 mandatory 1000 events: indian wells miami madrid rome cincinati beijing
And 4 non mandatory with extra points for just playing it: doha dubai montreal wuhan
And make 500's non mandatory!
Every player will have her good schedule and can't blame anyone !
@TheTennisPanda i'm predicting she'll reach quarterfinals but meet iga again and that will be the end of cinci lol

@nick_ally1986 I’ll never ever understand these schedules. They have no regard for these players
Why should they skip days early in the tournament and rush the schedule later in the tournament?
Great tournament for Rybakina despite the final. It was always going to be straight set loss . Very poor scheduling. How can you manage to let a player having to play 3 consecutive days for the QF, Semis and Finals and in a 2 Week event especially having a final match at 6PM after they played till 1AM in the morning
