Out of an abundance of
caution because we really don’t know where things will be at in November 2020, we made the difficult
decision to cancel our Annual Fundraising Gala.

In November and December 2019, we were
able to purchase the “Baby Nests” to send directly to outlying areas in Guyana and these were incredibly
well received.

GHTK has outfitted the Georgetown Public Hospital with incubators, patient monitors, infusion pumps, infant warmers and bassinets. Since 2007, the Unit has also moved to a Level 3 NICU with the introduction of CPAP in 2012 and ventilator services in 2013.

Tiffany C.'s unborn baby was under serious threat. Against all odds, and as a direct result of the incubators which had been provided by GHTK to the Georgetown Public Hospital, Tiffany’s premature baby miraculously survived, and was most appropriately named Miracle. #guyana
