@mdf200 @ScotTories That same article that is always cast up in this debate. It was a poor piece of journalism based on a flawed interpretation of a report. No one in the No campaign or any major political party advocated its findings. Everyone knew our industry still had decades left.

Otherwise, I agree. We should be using our own resources and supporting domestic jobs for as long as we can.

As for the union, it is as safe as ever. There is no prospect of another referendum happening at any time in the near future. The UK government will continue to protect the will of most Scots.

@jimac1111 The micky mouse parliament has no say on the matter. The UK parliament does and has stated that there will be no independence referendum. Case closed.
