With a rate of +88%, Norway is leading the European alternative engine (BEV, HEV, P-HEV) car registrations.
Followed by Iceland, Sweden, and Finland.
On the other hand, southern European countries are progressing on alternative engine vehicle registrations.
In 2022, private car registrations dropped by 4% in Europe.
Denmark, Finland, and Lithuania are the countries with the lowest rate, with almost -20% registrations.
In general, only 10 out of 30 countries in the European area, are slightly progressing.
In LATAM countries it is not mandatory to have insurance. As older the car parc is also the chance of not having insurance. Even in some countries like Argentina, the number of accidents not declared to the insurance increased by 2%.
