This is Anastasiia Yalanskaya 🇺🇦
She was killed yesterday, just outside Kyiv, delivering supplies to a dog shelter that was without food for 3 days
The car she was in was targeted at close range
Yalanskaya stayed behind in Kyiv to volunteer as everyone fled around her
Seems to me that if you’re fighting for rights/freedoms than you should, at the very least, understand your country’s Constitution.
First Amendment? That’s 🇺🇸.
Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedom? That would be 🇨🇦
it is -30 in toronto tonight. and this was picture of the TTC last night taken by @fatnmostly. do not look away — this is canada’s failure on housing as a human right. we need all levels of government to end homelessness now.
Hey! You know what! In 2022 I am using exclamation points at the end of every email sentence! I don’t care if it looks like I’m unhinged! I am! Warmest regards!!!
At a covid and flu assessment clinic yesterday, I saw a double vaccinated healthcare worker in respiratory distress from #Omicron. I sent this individual to the ER. #Omicron is not always a mild illness.
Even if Omicron is less virulent than Delta, the massive number of new cases still results in hospitalization & puts pressure on a healthcare system that was stretched prior to this wave.
Covid-related personnel absences (via infection & exposure) further exacerbate the problem.
@lizzzzlar I literally had all the symptoms. So rough. I feel human again finally but I'm still testing positive. Despite that, I still need a few days to regain energy. 5 days is def not enough time.
What’s required in the aftermath of the insurrection is a way to punish Donald Trump for his sedition, make sure he can’t run for President again, and deprive him of the attention he so craves, @JohnCassidy writes. https://t.co/pSPuIzyPeo
