@sscjusa I'm catching up on last night's news programs while scrolling my feed on X. This gave me pause. I muted the TV and recited this prayer. It's so beautiful and I don't say it enough

After retaking Jerusalem in the First Crusade, Godfrey of Bouillon as chosen as king of the Holy Land.
However, he responded: "I will not wear a crown of gold in the city where Our Lord Jesus Christ wore a crown of thorns."

THE QUESTION THAT ENDS EVERY ARGUMENT
I’ve been asking atheists this question for years. Almost none of them answer it directly. Let’s see how you do.
In 1 Corinthians 15, written approximately 54 AD, just 21 years after the Resurrection, Paul lists eyewitnesses by name:
“He appeared to Peter, then to the Twelve. Then He appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive.”
Paul writes this while many of those 500 witnesses are still alive.
He is essentially saying: “Don’t believe me? Go ask them.”
In ancient literature, no forger does this. You don’t fabricate a claim and then direct your readers to living contradicting witnesses.
If those 500 people didn’t exist, if no one had seen the risen Jesus, Paul’s entire letter would have been destroyed immediately by the people receiving it in Corinth.
It wasn’t destroyed. It was copied, shared, and preserved.
Here is the question:
What is your alternative explanation for the empty tomb, the transformed Apostles, and the 500 witnesses?
I’ll wait. 👇
Share this. The faith has answers. Let’s show that today.
During the Rosary for peace in the Vatican Gardens, Pope Leo XIV reminded everyone present and praying around the world that all people must do their part to achieve peace. It must start with “small but important things, abstaining from every form of verbal or physical violence in daily life and also on social media.”
@Doofus_I_am Hi Gordon, this is Olivia. This is the account I use to view Catholic content. I was surprised to find myself blocked and am unsure if I unintentionally offended you. If so, I sincerely hope you can let me know. If not, best wishes to you as well
@Sachinettiyil Interesting to see how faith and community can still resonate with younger generations, even in places where religion has been declining
