Sr T Hailu took lead with 3.5 laps to go & strung the race out. He was caught but held on for 4th & 9:29 (:01 PR!) one of first callback misses.

Marion County Freshman Meet:

ALL 6 distance guys ran massive PRs! We were seeded to NOT score any points and came away with 6!

Is that a lot? No, but these freshman are a fun group to be around, super coachable and compete their butts off!

Last night we hosted a 4 team invite with Columbus North, Mooresville & Cahokia (IL)

Despite light rain all 4 teams showed grit and toughness to compete! On the distance side we had 26 athletes compete and 21 ran PRs (80%)!!!

Biggest highlight was Jr C Jackson and Soph J Ramírez both going sub 3 for the first time!
