๐ฝ๏ธHello everyone. I just spent a day following one of the @bankofengland's interest rate setters as he toured the West Midlands, trying to get his head round the economy ahead of his next rate decision.
Here's our film๐ https://t.co/hBUeUoBrVi
@Imamanwithaplan The jest of the report is โitโs complicatedโ. โฆ some critics out there are rattling on about underemployment as if itโs a new thing. Lots for schools to do, as always. It is good to debate the future of work and hopefully this is a decent starting point.
@KirstieMAllsopp I lived there; in the gym once you showered and got dressed you mopped and dried the floor space you used. People had ash trays attached to their belts so as not to flick ash on the floor. I even watched a chap throw breadcrumbs for birds then collect up the uneaten bits ๐
@TTRadioOfficial Snr staff advice and support was organic; there was a full staff room at lunchtime, a smoking room, buns before parents eveningโฆloads of opportunities to listen to the experience of others. All gone now reducing opportunities to support young staff if not in your dept space.
@adamboxer1 It is frustrating when schools, teachers, teachers within the same school question fairness. I prefer the line that โall staff work hardโ but in different ways. Y13 and Y11 staff will have put in incredible hours and effort; but so will other staff in different ways.
