@ncakenya a balcony collapsed jana 27th Sept arnd 7pm at this building under construction in Mwiki, ACK rd 2nd Street. NCA has visited a few times & closed site, a complain reported at area chief but work progressed. Luckily no one was injured or killed. See thread below.

i am not an expert but i can see more structural issues in this building, a similar second balcony is of concern, people live in here, @ncakenya pls look into this. 0722972240 i am ready to assist with access into the building for inspection & point out more areas of concern.

at around 7.30pm 4 fundis had bn called in by the developer who lives in the property to demolish the broken piece & clear the mess, but i arrived at 9pm & chased them away depsite the developer urging them to continue.

this balcony is a weak added extention, not done together with the slab, then short stone wall was added onto it. a second similar balcony stands & is a potential hazard. @ncakenya pls intervene & protect the people living in it.

the numbers written by @ncakenya indicate site closed on 6th june 2025. there are also figures 162228 & also 2337/25. a complain was also filed at NCA & there was a secind visit, but work progresses
