Cardi B coming under fire for her reaction to Karmelo Anthony’s guilty verdict in the stabbing death of Austin Metcalf.

The rapper is blasting the verdict, arguing it was less about justice and more about making an example out of the defendant.

Anthony was sentenced to 35 years in prison for the murder of Metcalf after fatally stabbing him at a high school track meet in April 2025.

@JesseBWatters Jesse, I believe that kids are getting ahold of guns, go out and shoot people and don’t realize that death is permanent. The video games they play, they can shoot people and they do not die. If people decide to have kids, they should stay home to raise them.
