@debwhite @ljmatt22 I don’t do simple and generic. I know these kids enough to make deep comments, but it was only a joke that most didn’t get because none of you know me. But that doesn’t stop any of you from judging me.
Really tired of all these parents brining in books for me to sign that they can give to their kid when they turn 18. What if I didn’t like your kid? Ever think of that?
@ljmatt22 It was a joke, but you’d have to know me to understand that. You’d rather jump to conclusions about someone - me - who you know nothing about. Let me take some of your writing out of context.
I used to think teaching unit conversions was boring...until I turned the questions into "Would you rather?" questions.
Ex: Would you rather drive 100 ft/sec or 40 mph?
@ModestTeacher Because lobbyists working for these for-profit test companies have convinced the politicians that the scores have value. The lobbyist tell the politicians they can play “gotcha” using test scores to make a show of bullying teachers.
