@HarryBerezin@Coach_Yac The gleeful mocking of the man, who is clearly going through something incredibly difficult, by a substantial portion of the fan base is really depressing to me. Social media has handed power to the loudest, cruelest, least empathetic voices and we are suffering for it.
More than half of the publicly identified donors to President Trumpโs White House ballroom project have won new or expanded federal contracts worth more than $50 billion, according to a report from a government watchdog group. https://t.co/wEAqxMA7AG
@dieter I enjoyed that article. I have to say, you and Baggs are the only two in local media who arenโt pulling punches to some extent. Sometimes train wrecks make for entertaining reading.
@susanhaynes541@GuntherEagleman Born & still live in SF and, I know it doesnโt fit your narrative, but San Francisco, for its size, is a really safe city. Itโs also still as beautiful as ever. https://t.co/IAJKJ3Fa3d
@GiantHotTakes Chapman was on one of his hot streaks (that he used to have) & Posey got caught up in it & barged past Farhan to give him everything he wanted. Likewise, Bader has an outlier hot season & Posey got caught up in it & gave him 2 years 20 mill. Both times Posey bid against himself.
@Adamcopes@SFGiants Though much of this isn't his fault, the hiring of Vitello is part of this bizarre, impulsive, reactive, poorly thought-out way this this team has been built, by yes, this poorly constructed front office.
@sfstandard@DannyEmerman It's stunning to look at all the innovative talent on that 2021 staff compared to the staff today. The swings from Farhan/Kapler to Farhan/Melvin, to Posey/Melvin to this bizarre out of the box hire of Vitello, who, rather ironically, trumps all, by not knowing what he's doing.
