@MMAFighting @DamonMartin All credit to pena its easy to say nunes wasn't herself but that's because pena was able to make it a dogfight and unlike the cyborg fight pena was stopping a lot of attacks with a piston of a jab and wore out nunes.

Nunes would still be the favourite but what a performance 👏

@MMAFighting @DamonMartin People say nunes wasn't focused but she had a dominant first round. Then the second Pena stayed on the feet and used the 1-2 and jab beautifully. It was unorthodox but it was clipping nunes. Added with some left hooks as well and a constant onslaught nunes got tired and broke.

@marc_raimondi Fights like these in MMA the towel should get thrown in. KK with all due respect didn’t look like she had any real path to victory but was too tough and was just going to take unnecessary damage. Seems like the coaches are just leaving it to the fighters/paid doctors to decide.

Sharps use screens as well but it’s a bit easier to defend as sharps don’t fade while sprinting away from the defender.
