Dear Giganode community,
Unfortunately, we are no longer able to provide support for the Tezos Giga node, and it will be shut down on the 30th of September 2022. We’d like to thank everyone for the support and encouragement we have received over the years.
Hey #Tezos Community! We've just finished moving the #giganode servers to the new, faster infrastructure. If you are experiencing any issues with the new setup, please let us know.
Check out our newest article to see how the #tezos@rustlang node's new architecture bridges the gap between formal specification and implementation https://t.co/q7X4W4VHVw
Hey #Tezos Community! We are happy to announce that #Giganode is going to stay up and running and starting Oct 1st is handed over to the team at @TezEdge 🤝

There are numerous speculations flooding #Tezos communities. We want to make it clear one more time that @TezosFoundation is supporting us, funding is not an issue. The decision is our own and only due to internal difficulties.
Please refrain from FUD and deploy your own nodes.
@utdrmac Main reason for the shutdown is lack of human resources to take care of it internally. All of what you describe requires significant amount of hours to produce and unfortunately there are no possibilities on doing that.
@Goblin61517961 We don’t run any software. GigaNode a public RPC. Tezos nodes launched on multiple servers behind a load balancer. Tezos node software is open sourced, servers can be rented on various venues such as AWS. The setup is the work of DevOps.
We are very sorry for the inconveniences this decision will cause to community and we hope for your understanding! We thank everyone, it was great pleasure serving you!
Special shoutout to @TezosFoundation and all Tezos organizations for supporting us since day one!

2. We are unable to scale our human resources internally. The exponential growth of the #Tezos network forced us to scale the cluster to some levels that we can't manage efficiently with the staff in place anymore.
