What is the source ? Is it an AI and they’re all following a script. Is it a group of men who let inertia take its course with their decisions ? You forgot to include they have even manipulated our etymology of our civilization, that’s why English is the worlds dominant language, why our the dollar is the most dominant currency. Enoch was written in the apocalyptic era, roughly 3rd–2nd century BCE (the oldest section, the Book of the Watchers, is usually dated around 300–200 BCE).
It was written by Jewish people under foreign rule who felt the present age was broken and that God was about to intervene in a final, cosmic way. That is the same environment that produced the Book of Daniel. Both books share the same urgency: history has reached a crisis, evil has a deeper origin than just human failure, and a final judgment and restoration are coming.

Enoch takes the short, mysterious story in Genesis 6 (the “sons of God” and the daughters of men) and expands it into a full explanation of how forbidden knowledge, violence, and cosmic disorder entered the world through the Watchers. It makes the fall of man and the corruption of the earth look much larger and more cosmic than a single act of disobedience in a garden.
Even after Jesus, that same apocalyptic atmosphere continued. That is why you still see paintings of the crucifixion with a darkened sky or eclipse — the artists and the early Christians were still reading the death of Jesus against that cosmic background of judgment and the turning of the ages.

Enoch is not “Scripture” in the Hebrew canon, but it was widely read, respected, and influential. It shows us how Jewish people in that period were trying to understand evil, history, and God’s final victory. That is why it matters.

Depending on how you see it. I heard the devil has to make you laugh or say yes first before anything. Like saying hello, hell is low. The devil has possessed those who even affect civilization’s etymology. If you accept these energies with the intent behind them they will control you, but if you call them out, change your perspective, educate yourself, you’ll be ok.
